As a special thank you to collectors of Sanso’s work and to friends of Fundacion Sanso and Galerie Joaquin , ANIMO Magazine was honored to have been invited to “Sanso Textile Designs X Septieme Rebelle, A Fashion and Art Exhibit”, held last December 8, 2021 at Galerie Joaquin One Bonifacio High Street in Taguig. The exhibit presented delightfully bright, bold, and beautiful garments under fashion designer Robbie Santos’ couture label Septième Rebelle using as inspiration the textile designs of modernist master and presidential Medal of Merit awardee Juvenal Sansó.

From 1958-1968 Sanso designed textiles for top fashion houses Synergie, Bianchini Ferrier and ultimately culminating in making an entire collection for the House of Balenciaga.
