AutoHub Institute of Technology

MORE THAN JUST A LEARNING PAD

How to spot the best mechanic in the field? No, it’s not about the speedy overnight job but rather it’s all about accelerated hard work, a truckload of patience, and synergy of training.  As they say, the best automotive technicians are made and trained not born.

With this in mind and staying committed to providing excellence at par with the world-class standards, Autohub Group of Companies reinvigorates their technical training institution dubbed as Autohub Institute of Technology (AIT). Now on its 7th year, AIT is more than just being a learning hub but significantly honing the best technical experts in the automotive industry that will make them globally competitive and rev up their careers.

Being an established training automotive pad, AIT is strictly adhering to being the premier regional and global automotive technician training center in the country while providing the highest standards of competence in automotive technician training with an integral and holistic approach.

The institute is also equipped with World-class Quality Training, which by the way also symbolically stands as WQT (sounds kinda familiar as it also stands like the initials of  Autohub’s President Willy Q. Tee Ten), aimed to bring out the best potential of their trainees in terms of knowledge and skills.  Then there’s the defining balance of cultivating positive work values and nurturing human virtues in their trainees as part also of the Corporate Social Responsibility.

Likewise, AIT’s core values firmly promote Competence, Character, and Concern for Others; each value speaks highly about their systematic run of things.  More than the usual classroom setup, AIT made sure that the trainees can have more adept internships through hands-on routine mentored by competent and seasoned professional trainers.

At AIT, the trainees are schooled according to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Automotive Servicing Training Program and Autohub’s needs and work specifications. Thus, having a mode of training delivery that combines theoretical and practical training. AIT refers to this learning as “Dual Training” because the training happens in two venues – the training center and the company. The student-trainee reports to the school/training center while at the same time, he works and trains in the company.

Through this approach, both share the responsibility of providing trainees with well-coordinated learning experiences and opportunities.  This collaboration between the school and the company ensures that the trainees are assessment-ready for the TESDA National Level Certification and fully equipped with employable skills, work knowledge, and attitudes at the end of the training.

AIT’s hallmark program is a one-year TESDA Automotive Servicing NCI and NCII registered courses, wherein the trainees are exposed to both classroom and industry-based types of training thanks to Autohub’s extensive network of well-known automotive brands which includes Rolls-Royce, Lotus, MINI, Ford, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Geely, Fuso, MG, Nissan, Hyundai, Piaggio Ape, Vespa, Shelby, and Triumph.

Autohub Institute of Technology is located at Blk 15, 6thflr., Ford Global Building, 32nd Str., cor.
